On March 6, the L'Occitane Artisan Empowerment Initiative, a collaborative effort between the China Women's Development Foundation and L'Occitane en Provence, officially launched at the Longfu Cultural Center in Beijing.
The opening ceremony welcomed key figures from the foundation and L'Occitane.
This initiative is designed to empower female artisans and young artists, equipping them with the tools to modernize and commercialize their crafts. By offering specialized training, mentorship, and exhibition opportunities, the program aims to preserve traditional craftsmanship while fostering innovation, enabling women artisans to expand their reach and develop sustainable careers.
