Valentino Presents “City Walks: Encounter Her Power” to Celebrate Women's Creativity

To mark International Women's Day, Valentino is bringing its “City Walks: Encounter Her Power.” campaign to the banks of Shanghai's Suzhou Creek, showcasing the power of female creativity through photography, music, and literature.

The campaign debuted on February 22 with an intimate opening dinner at Fotografiska Shanghai, where guests explored a solo exhibition by Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi. Featuring her signature poetic visual language, the exhibition spans ethereal Icelandic landscapes, quiet reflections from the pandemic, and serene winter scenes from Hokkaido—all captured through a distinctly feminine perspective. From March 7 to 9, Valentino will also unveil a pop-up flower shop at the venue, using floral artistry to symbolize women's strength and beauty.<
