Hainan's Offshore Duty-Free Sales Reach 6.61 Billion Yuan During Spring Festival Travel Rush

Hainan's offshore duty-free market has flourished during the first Spring Festival travel period with an 8-day holiday.

On February 23, Haikou Customs released the latest statistics showing that during the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush (from January 14 to February 22), offshore duty-free shopping in Hainan amounted to 6.61 billion RMB. The total number of shoppers was 818,000, and 5.642 million items were sold.<
