On December 19, Canada Goose debuted its immersive interactive exhibition at Zhangyuan in Shanghai. The exhibition highlights the brand’s storied heritage, its innovative journey, and the first-ever Fall/Winter capsule collection designed by Creative Director Haider Ackermann. Open to the public, the exhibition runs through January 5, 2025.
The opening event welcomed notable attendees, including Jonathan Sinclair, President of Canada Goose Asia-Pacific, Cheng Tengkuan, President of Canada Goose China, supermodel He Cong, and football player Li Sirong.
The exhibition brings Canada Goose’s rich legacy to life, with visitors immersed in the awe-inspiring northern landscapes. Guests can explore the brand’s origins, cutting-edge innovations, collaborations, and social responsibility efforts. Iconic pieces such as the Resolute, Expedition, and Snow Mantra parkas are also on display, representing the essence of Canada Goose’s craftsmanship and history.
The exhibition also spotlights Canada Goose’s environmental commitments, including its partnership with Polar Bears International to raise awareness about polar bear conservation and its collaboration with the Shanshui Conservation Center in China to protect biodiversity in the Sanjiangyuan National Park. These initiatives showcase the brand’s dedication to promoting harmony between humanity and nature.
In the TEI zone, visitors can experience Canada Goose’s proprietary warmth rating system. Through immersive environments that simulate various terrains and climates, the TEI five-level system guides guests in selecting the ideal cold-weather gear tailored to specific activities and conditions.
The Haider Ackermann capsule collection, presented in a dedicated area, marks a tribute to the brand’s origins. Named "Snow Goose by Canada Goose," it revives the original brand name and reintroduces its classic logo. The collection offers a variety of lifestyle pieces, including outerwear, apparel, and accessories, with highlights like the Rider Parka, inspired by the mid-1990s Peace Keeper Parka, a classic designed for extreme weather.
Visitors can also enjoy a pop-up store on the first floor, featuring products from multiple collections, and unwind at the Canada Goose café, offering a tranquil space to relax amidst the experience.
