Tiffany & Co. Unveils Custom Trophies for Shanghai Marathon 2024

As the official trophy partner of the Shanghai Marathon, Tiffany & Co. continues its collaboration this year by crafting exclusive trophies and medals for the race. Alongside the awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, the brand has introduced specially designed trophies and medals for the top three Chinese male and female athletes.

The designs celebrate the triumphant moment of crossing the finish line and feature iconic Shanghai landmarks such as the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center. The champion's trophy, made from sterling silver with 24K gold vermeil, stands at an impressive 45.7 cm. The runner-up trophy, combining sterling silver and fine silver, measures 41.3 cm tall, while the third-place trophy, crafted from sterling silver and bronze, reaches 36.1 cm in height. Each trophy requires more than four months of meticulous craftsmanship.

The trophies are handcrafted at Tiffany hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Master artisans utilize time-honored techniques like spinning, silversmithing, chasing, hand engraving, and polishing to achieve impeccable detailing.
