Recently, Columbia held its first hiking party at Yunnan's Pudacuo National Park in Shangri-La. Long-time Columbia’s long-time friend Qiming Jiang took to the stage for a debut performance, while new friend Vicky Chen also attended the event.
This event, organized by Columbia alongside several like-minded partners, was a one-of-a-kind hiking party that brought together a vibrant and fun-filled experience for outdoor lovers and nature enthusiasts.
From September 15 to 17, attendees enjoyed live music at Pudacuo National Park, hiked exclusive trails, and explored other popular hiking routes around Shangri-La. The event also served as a lead-up to Columbia's Tmall Super Brand Day on September 19.
As a signature Columbia event, the party combined hiking and music, transforming the hiking experience from a physical challenge into a thrilling journey of exploration. Hikers from across the country arrived via different routes to join the celebration at Pudacuo National Park.
On September 15, a lively forum was held on-site, where speakers discussed the growth of hiking culture, shared personal stories, and talked about hiking gear, all from their own unique perspectives and experiences.
The music lineup at the event was diverse, featuring genres like rock, folk, reggae, and electronic, with artists coming together in nature to deliver free-spirited and creative performances that gave the event an exciting, fresh twist.
In addition to the live music, the party featured various interactive zones with food, music, and games. At the supply station and interaction zone, participants got to try out Columbia's professional-grade outdoor gear.
One of the event's main attractions was the “OMNI-LAB Thermal Sensory Cabin,” which drew plenty of attention. Inspired by Columbia’s tech lab, this installation showcased the brand’s OMNI-HEAT™ INFINITY warmth technology in a fun, hands-on way, allowing visitors to see firsthand how effective it is in providing warmth and comfort in natural settings.
