Messika Presented MIDNIGHT SUN High Jewelry Collection in Shanghai

On November 22, the Parisian jewelry brand Messika held its high jewelry event for Midnight Sun high jewelry collection in Shanghai. Valérie Messika, the brand’s founder and creative director, attended the event and shared the inspiration behind the latest designs with the guests.

This marks the first presentation of the new pieces from the Midnight Sun collection in China. The collection was inspired by the changing moments between day and night, with Valérie Messika drawing on memories of festive nights filled with energy and passion. The designs skillfully combine light, shadow, and the dazzling sparkle of diamonds, capturing the magical transition from midnight to dawn, in keeping with the signature aesthetic of the Midnight Sun series.

The Solar Diva necklace features nearly 35 carats of vivid yellow diamonds, set with haute couture techniques to create a stunning neckline silhouette. The Groove set, with its retro-style large chain links, combines gold and diamond rings to add depth and dimension, while the So Move set blends the sculptural elements of the Move motif. The collection also introduces innovative pieces such as waist chains, headpieces, and nail jewelry, reflecting Messika’s continued innovation in high jewelry design.
